Eruptions of ash shoot upwards from the volcano Bogoslof, located in the Aleutian islands
This last Tuesday an aviation advisory was put into effect for the ash cloud that was seen rising up to 25,000 feet from the volcano. Luckily it dissipated and was not reported as ash fall on the Alaskan coast. Scientist are watching closely since this is the longest the volcano has been documented as actively erupting. From carrying Diamonds to diverting our air traffic these beautiful giants are awe inspiring.
