The photo below shows a diamond in a six prong setting, but the center 4 prongs are completely worn down. The only prongs holding this diamond in place are the two end prongs. This client almost lost her beloved engagement ring diamond. That would have been a shame! So please remember to get your prongs checked at least every three months.
